Happy Valentines Day!!

Happy Valentines Day– or Happy Hallmark Day!?

There are lot’s of mixed emotions about Valentines Day. Whether you are single, married, widowed, or divorced… Valentines Day can still have a different meaning to you. The “Hallmark Holiday” as some refer to it as.

I do feel that Valentines Day is wildly commercialized, however, I do feel that it is a very important day. Valentines Day should be a day to show extra love and affection to those you care about. It doesn’t mean you need to wine or dine, buy expensive gifts, or flowers………even though all of these things are nice!!

In my opinion there is nothing better than receiving a handmade, hand written card filled with love. It is a great chance to open your heart to someone, and put to paper some of the feelings you have (and might forget to say).

I know this is what I will be doing for Valentines Day. Call me sappy…call me lame…but these are the things that I care about most.

I am very blessed to have such a wonderful life. I have a loving and caring husband, two sweet boys who fill my heart with love each day, parents-both mine and inherited who are so loving and supportive, family who is always there for us-and involved in our lives, and so many wonderful friends.
I love you all so much. I cherish you all and I hold you all near and dear to my heart. Keeping you all in my thoughts today and always.

I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day filled with love!!! Laughing
